Automated Ultra Sonic Welder

Project Challenge

The application called for a pre-weld inspection of a plastic part, weld schedule selection, ultra-sonic welding and post weld inspection.

Rothgreaves solution

RothGreaves SmartBase work station integrated the motion, vision and welding processes as a finished machine. The operator loads the tooling (not shown) then the machine performs the pre-weld inspection, weld schedule selection, welding and inspect the part for quality before handing the finished product back to the operator.
